CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PANDEMIC:
We understand you may be concerned about the health of you and your family and community. We share your concern. Your OHP benefits have not changed, and include coverage for testing, medical visits and hospitalization related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). You still have access to your doctors and hospitals. You still have coverage for the care you need through the Oregon Health Plan, at no cost to you.
Stay healthy and connected with your medical provider or team. During this time medical providers encourage you to reach out to them via electronic methods such as telephone or your patient portal if you are in need of medical care, or simply have questions or concerns. They will then work with you to connect to an audio/video type visit such as Facetime, Skype, or other electronic methods if appropriate. The main concern our provider network has is to keep the community safe and healthy without compromising your healthcare.

- Your doctor will take samples and talk to you about next steps
- Samples are sent to the Oregon State Public Health Lab for testing, the only lab to test for COVID-19 in Oregon.
- The Oregon State Public Health Lab will test for COVID-19. Your provider and public health will be notified of the results.
- If the test shows the presence of the infection, the Oregon Health Authority will announce this as a presumptive case. The samples will be sent to the CDC for confirmation.
